I found this on another deviants journal and have to sya I agree totally.

How to feel miserable as an artist (or what not to do)

1. Constantly compare yourself to other artists.
2. Talk to your family about what you do and expect them to cheer you on.
3. Base the success of your entire career on one project.
4. Stick with what you know.
5. Undervalue your expertise.
6. Let money dictate what you do.
7. Bow to societal pressures.
8. Only do work that your family would love.
9. Do whatever the client/customer/gallery owner/patron/investor asks.
10. Set unachievable/overwhelming goals. To be accomplished by tomorrow.

trueeeee < 3 my family will only support me the day i get success meaning the day i get an actual job there can provide enough money to live off.

doesnt matter what i can earn online, or what i can earn IRL by selling privately.

doesnt matter it something i love and something i've done pretty much my entire life.

They find it stupid that i have paid 515 USD on a tablet [became that expensive because i had to get it shipped to my country and also had to pay tax of the shipment]
